"Basic" to one may be "illuminating" to others. I believe that it is constructive and worthwhile to restate these "basics". Many businesses fail simply because they do not attend to the "basics". That in itself is sufficient reason not only to occasionally re-state them (as contributors), but also to re-read them (as "consumers" of the articles).
