Steve,

Now I know you were not talking about my business when you wrote this article, but you just described us. I always knew your were psychic!.

You could also almost interchange the word love with passion in what you have said.

Our staff are very important to us as our success in business is directly related to thier impute and work. Our passion is to deliver service to our clients as they are number one to our success.

I want to add some words of widom here that may help business people. Firstly I will give a little background info on me. I own Wealth Within Pty Ltd with my partner, hence the buck stops with us. We have been in business 5 years as of July and this year we were one of BRW's fastest 100 start ups and will be next year!!

Our philosopy is that if you are not serving the customer then you are serving someone who is. Translation love the customer, because the cusomer you serve may not be the end customer who parts with the money for your services. Everyone in your business either internal or external is a customer.

Therefore this means that the management structure of a business should be shown upside down with the MD on the bottom and the sales/customer service people at the top. My job is to love my staff and serve them so that they can serve my customers, who in turn reward us with thier clientel.

Pretty simple really, oh and even though they may be a pain to do, you have to love systems!!!

Go love yourself, your team, your customers and your business!

This is a very good article. Caring in business is what makes an average business a great business. Look at Google for example. Google staff members love coming to work as they are well looked after and cared for.
